This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Loan Worth is a credit representative of Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 389328), and references to "we, us, our" include our aggregator, Connective Broker Services Pty Ltd and its related companies.
To provide credit assistance we collect personal information including your name, contact details, date of birth, employment and income details, assets and liabilities, expenses, identification documents, and information about the credit you are seeking. We may also collect sensitive information where relevant and with your consent.
We collect information directly from you (through forms, our website, phone, email or in person) and, with your authority, from third parties such as lenders, credit reporting bodies, your employer, accountant or referrers.
We may disclose your information to lenders and credit providers, mortgage insurers, valuers, our aggregator (Connective), credit reporting bodies, our service providers (including IT and document storage), and government or regulatory bodies where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
We use online tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and website analytics to measure and improve our advertising. These tools may set cookies and share limited, non-sensitive activity data (such as pages viewed or whether an enquiry form was submitted) with the relevant providers. We do not share your loan details, contact details or other sensitive information through these tools. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
In arranging finance, lenders may obtain a credit report about you from a credit reporting body. Each lender has its own credit reporting policy describing how they manage credit-related information; we can provide details on request.
Some of the recipients to whom we disclose your personal information may be based overseas. It is not practicable to list every country, but these are likely to include the Philippines, India and Nepal. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in line with the APPs.
We hold your information in secure electronic and physical systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law.
